Dal 2015 è la prima Research Associate for Art & Science presso l’International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) di Laxenburg presso Vienna\, dove dal 2018 guida il progetto Art & Science. Gloria Benedikt traduce i risultati delle ricerche sul cambiamento climatico\, l’estinzione della specie\, risorse e migrazione\, in musica\, teatro e danza. Il suo obiettivo è quello di rendere tangibile la conoscenza astratta e innescare cambiamenti comportamentali attraverso le emozioni che essa scatena.
