Elektras Schwester Chrysothemis teilt deren Obsession nicht, warnt sie aber davor, dass sie fortgeschickt wird, sollte sie sich ihrer Mutter nicht beugen. Elektra beeindruckt dies nicht, sie f\u00fchlt sich umso mehr in ihren Rachegedanken best\u00e4rkt. Klytaimestra leidet indes am Albtraum, Orestes k\u00f6nnte zur\u00fcckkehren und sucht die Aussprache mit Elektra. Indes ereilt beide die Nachricht vom Tod Orestes &#8211; f\u00fcr Elektra der Ansto\u00df, die Rachepl\u00e4ne alleine durchzuf\u00fchren.
